HOURS comienza en un Hospital en Nueva Orleans durante el paso del Huracán Katrina, cuando la esposa de Nolan Hayes (Paul Walker), Abigail (Genesis Rodriguez) esta teniendo contracciones de parto muy temprano en su estado, dando a luz a su hija prematurarmenta.  Esto causa que la bebe sea puesta en una incubadora al menos por 48 horas para ayudarla a respirar, hasta que ella lo pueda hacer por si misma.  

Durante 48 Horas sin descanso, Nolan tiene que hacer todo en su poder para mantener a su hija con vida y se encontrará con un sin número de obstáculos que pondrán en peligro la sobrevivencia de su hija.  Cada segundo cuenta para Nolan.

En HOURS verás a Paul Walker interpretando a un personaje completamente distinto al cual lo has visto en Fast and the Furious.  En HOURS su interpretación me sorprendió, porque pude sentir la frustración, el miedo, el coraje, la tristeza, la fuerza, el cansancio y la voluntad del personaje de Nolan.  Yo corrí con Nolan durante toda la película y llego un momento en la cual pensé "lo lograra o no lo lograra".

Before sunrise on August 29, 2005 Nolan Hayes (Paul Walker) arrive at a New Orleans hospital with his pregnant wife, Abigail (Genesis Rodriguez), who has gone into early labor. What should be one of the happiest days of Nolan's life quickly spiral out of control when the birth goes tragically wrong and Hurricane Katrina ravages the hospital, forcing an evacuation.  Told to stay with his child, who is on a ventilator, and await transfer by ambulance, Nolan and his newborn are soon cut off from the world by power outages and rising flood water.  When no one returns to help, Nolan faces one life-and-death decision after another, fighting to keep his daughter alive, as minute-by-agonizing minute passes, becoming unimaginable hours.

Antes de que amaneciera el 29 de agosto de 2005, Nolan Hayes (Paul Walker) llega a un hospital en Nueva Orleans con su esposa embarazada, Abigail (Génesis Rodríguez) porque esta, está teniendo dolores de parto prematuros en su estado.  Lo que debió ser uno de los días más felices en la vida de Nolan, rápidamente se vuelven trágicos cuando el parto de su esposa se complica y el huracán Katrina azota el hospital, forzando una evacuación.
